Karen Hækkerup has vast experience from a long career in Danish politics. She has been member of the Danish Parliament from 2005-2014 and has served as minister on three occasions, including Minister of Justice from 2013-2014.

On top of that, she has worked in the private sector for almost a decade.

She has been the director of the organization Danish Agriculture and Food Council and General Secretary of Unicef Denmark.
