With our events, the Nordic Safe Cities alliance aims to identify, facilitate and scale best practices, knowledge, inspiration and actions from across the Nordic region to Nordic cities, and internationally, for you to take home and implement locally. Through three annual sessions, we invite our members to engage collectively around pressing issues together with leading experts, researchers and government officials. The Nordic Safe Cities political summit in Stockholm, engaging Nordic mayors, Nordic Ministers, and 80+ Nordic cities politicians and practitioners. Co-hosted with the Swedish Minister of Justice, Morgan Johansson, the Mayor of Stockholm, Anna König Jerlmyr, General Secretary of the Nordic Council of Ministers, Paula Lehtomäki, and the Nordic Safe Cities alliance.
The Summit, taking place in Stockholm on December 12, 2019, will showcase examples of how cities are already delivering on their strong commitments and accelerate their ambition to create strong, resilient and safe cities across the Nordic region in the future. The 2019 Summit aims to build a coalition of leading cities, ministries and citizens.
