Louise Fiil Hansen is Partner and Design Director in SLA Architects where she is responsible for some of the studios largest and most complex urban projects. Among others are the revitalization and rebuilding of the Government Quarter in Oslo and the initial safety design for the Norwegian Parliament.
Across her diverse set of projects from nature-based city planning to integrated security design and climate adaption, Louise has a dedicated focus on how to spatially transform the classical challenges of the city such as pollution, social segregation, biodiversity loss and climate crisis and turning these challenges into possibilities for improved liveability
As a Nordic Safe Cities Advisor, Louise has worked on the projects Safe Urban Spaces and Grow Project where she is advising cities to create inclusive and democratic urban spaces and the principles of focusing on the organizational, physical, and social aspects of working with urban safety and security.
