What?
Democracy, peace, and security in the Nordic region, as we have known it since the end of World War II, are under threat. We are living in a time marked by geopolitical tensions and the normalization of authoritarian and anti-democratic movements. We aim to address these challenges by strengthening Nordic cooperation to protect democracy and security.
The Nordic Democracy Forum gathers over 250 key stakeholders from the Nordic countries annually to enhance collaboration on democracy, security, and safety.
The Forum is organized in close cooperation with the Nordic governments and municipalities, where ministers and mayors, civil society, foundations, and researchers participate with the purpose of sharing knowledge and developing solutions to the challenges facing democracy.
